Bad acting
abounds while the deaths are at an all-time low, both in quantity and
creativity, in this forgotten slasher from the 1980s. Occasionally so bad that
it is fun to watch, The Initiation is mostly just bad. The twist at the end is
inexplicable and would be laughed out of a writers’ meeting for even the worst
soap opera.
